• Fundraising

    New Parklands Residents Association gets funds from a number of sources including community based fund raising and donations. If you would like to donate or have a fund raising idea please contact a member of the committee. We have raised over £20 000.00 to date including £500.00 from our own fund-raising events such as the Maresfield Fete and our Parklands Jumble Sale - many thanks to all those involved in organising those very successful events. We are also in the 2nd stage of raising £50 000.00 of Lottery money for the Play Area improvements from Changing Spaces.

    We receive a small amount of funding for running costs and administration from Wealden District Council and have received a donation of £250.00 from Maresfield Parish Council which we are using for Play Area imrovements. Maresfield Parish Council also pay for the collection of rubbish from the Play Area bins.

    Obviously we don't expect to receive all of the funding shown above but hope to get the bulk of it. There is money available for the type of projects we are planning but it takes a lot of hard work and painstaking form filling to get it. The committee members involved in the fund raising give up an enormous amount of time to do it and deserve our appreciation.
